Publisher's Summary

Jason and his best friend, Michael, are finding out just how different things can be...and that magic isn’t as limited as previously thought.

What will he do? The God Bradard now wants him to be his champion, but can he do it? He feels trapped. Can he keep Earth safe? Will the dungeon he found and the people he recruits be enough? Will adventure, love, and faith be enough to keep Jason going and to do what he doesn’t want to do: gain power and fight the Gods themselves?

Follow Jason again as he goes deeper into Destiny’s World and discovers the true stakes involved.

Good concept with a juvenile protagonist

The basic concept is good and much of the writing works well, but there are far too many poorly throughout moments and interactions. The protagonist is the most juvenile 42 year old I've ever seen, not to mention oblivious to the obvious. As another review suggested, the immature nature of the relationship between the protagonist and his harem is just ridiculous and somewhat insulting to women with any self-respect, despite the patronizing moments when the protagonist alludes to their sexual superiority, as they fawn over him. Just another adolescent wet dream...

Skip this series

This book is filled with the power fantasy any teenager might want to see. it's jarring to read this in a book with a 42 year old protagonist.
Get all the girls, get all the powers, be surprised by all the things?

If you somehow got fooled like me thinking that this plot and world built in book 1 might develop and progress, please turn back.
