Publisher's Summary
From the hearth to the altar, make magic in every moment. Being a witch isn't limited to casting a spell under the full moon or consecrating a ritual circle. Whether you're calling the goddess or doing the dishes, your wonderfully witchy ways are woven into everything you do.
With her signature down-to-earth wisdom and warmth, Deborah Blake takes you into the heart of what it means to be a witch all day, every day. Filled to the brim with practical suggestions, pagan and Wicca spells, and helpful advice, this essential audiobook brings to light all facets of a modern witch's life: the seven core beliefs of witches, mindful eating and health, creating sacred space at home, relationships with non-pagans, sex and the single witch, raising pagan children, solitary and coven practice, pagan ritual, and green living.

For the fluffiest bunnies only.
The author claims the book is for everyone but then forces wiccan rules. It's a wiccan book.

Good info, interesting choice of narrator...
A good general overview of life as a pagan. She offers great tips and insight with a light-hearted energy that I really appreciate. The only negative feedback I have is about the narrator...her voice is kind of like listening to a barbie doll....very squeaky and unnaturally perky...no matter what topic she's talking about, almost emotionless. It's unfortunate because it makes the information shared feel a little detached.

One of the best books on Witchcraft/pagan Lifestyles
I enjoyed this book so much that I purchased both the audible version and the paperback itself so I could underline and refer back to areas I especially enjoyed and wanted to make note of. The narrator was fantastic. I highly recommend this book in either version to anyone wanting to learn about paganism, witchcraft or Wicca.

Great for a Christian converting to Wicca
This book is a very quick read. I enjoyed a lot of the information in the book. However this book is more for someone of a more conservative background trying to enter into the world of Wicca. I enjoyed quite a bit of the book but I did not appreciate certain constructive aspects of it. Things like mentioning eating habits, and a few places where there is toxic fat shaming, and diet culture heavy topics. You don’t have to be skinny to be a witch, guys.
That’s why I recommend this book to somebody with a conservative background who is used to constricting themselves and following a strict code of rules in their religion. In that case it would be a great transitional book. But if you are a free spirit this book might be a little bit confining to you.

The Goddess is in the Details
The Goddess is in the Details by Deborah Blake
Wisdom for the Everyday Witch. Non fiction self help.
Practical and useful tips for the Wiccan, Pagan or Witch to incorporate their beliefs into daily life. Spells, mindful eating, single or coven practice, candles and ritual circles, this book is a clear tool be your best self.
This book is not to answer your question if you are, or how to start. This book is practical advice for everyday rituals, and bringing your faith into your daily rituals. Opening and closing circles procedural and suggestions for specific uses are detailed.
Clear and easy to follow text and many references included.
🎧 I listened to an audiobook version narrated by Romy Nordlinger. Her pace is steady and voice clear. While it’s all from a single voice, she expresses process with solid diction with clear joy for life.
