This seemed to be an ongoing collection of all the well-known platitudes regarding diets, eating disorders, healthy eating, and self-help to love yourself. No offerings of new or unknown insights.

Life changing!!

I honestly had no idea this book would change my life and my mindset. I thought I was just going to get some good tips for self-love and move on to my next personal development book.

Everything she said I could relate to. It helped me take a good look at myself and become aware of, and make changes that were necessary. I have struggled with weight and body imagine my whole entire life and I am forever changed after reading this book.

Loved how she narrated the book!

Opening me to more of my truth

I loved this book. It helped me to see some significant patterns that I was not aware of in my self-love and eating routine. I felt myself welling up with tears knowing that her words were my truth to. I'm grateful for having read this book to help me see that even my relationship with food was reflecting my level of self worth and self love. Time to do some deep in her work now to heel and find more love for myself!

Disappointing for me but might be helpful for others

Unfortunately, the book wasn’t revolutionary for me. All the author mentions is not new to me, a lot of common sense, some good reminders and some unacceptable for me like eating whatever you want (being a vegan and feeling it’s not ethical and not kind to ourselves ). So feel like I wasted my time with the book but perhaps it will be helpful for those women who are not seeing their beauty and chasing the ideal image they see in magazines and try diet after diet and workout after workout and still fail and feel unhappy. Unfortunately It didn’t change my not so healthy relationship with food for me.

My life is changed

I don’t have enough words to explain what my soul feels from listening to this book. The words and flow that Mel uses resonated with me so deeply. I am improved on my perspective of food and how I eat and what I feel towards my body and image. I highly recommend this book to anyone (even men) who has issues with food and their body image! Thank you Mel for your vulnerability and sharing of your personal story and for this book! You are forever in my heart!

Life-Changing

I loved this book! After years of counting calories or points and weighing myself daily, this was the mindset shift I needed to break free from that cycle. I loved Mel's narration. It's like you're listening to a motivation speaker, not someone just reading words from a page. I definitely plan to give this one a second listen.

Nothing New.... AND totally Necessary!

While the author is not sharing anything new... ie “love your body” is her theme for the Goddess Revolution- I really enjoyed listening to this book. Her voice and accent are pleasant to listen to and I really felt her heart come through in this audible.
