Weirdly good

Mc is pretty op. A lot of the story is legitimately funny. There is some mild repetition in the beginning it it tapers off. The reader (Mare Trevathan) killed it! Nice, clear unique voices. Was a fun listen. Gonna download the next one.

THIS IS LITERALY THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER HEARD

I listened to this audiobook in 2 days and I couldn't stop laughing the entire time. I love the refreshing new (to me at least) concept of just how normal ish people would react to a level 20 D&D murder hobo that always rolls a 20. What I was really impressed by was the fact that Most of the main characters achualy had great character development and a really entertaining plotline. my favorite part was the dinner at the MC's besties( sorry for not writing the names I don't want to spell them wrong) birthday the whole time when no one knew how to handle her and just went with whatever she said was too funny!

hated it dnf

Couldn't get more then 3 chapters in. The female lead had hormone issues as all she can think about is the sword spirits pretty face even while surrounded by the corpses of her previous associates which she murdered. Yet she's supposed to be a sweet innocent squirrel girl makes no sense feels glossed over or poorly scripted. The sword spirit keeps petting her head like a kid or a dog even tho they just met and this happens like 7 to 10 times in that chapter repeated way too much. Also during the second chapter repeating the characters conversations to get both points of view was redundant. The last straw was that the overly horny main heroine is also an idiot with a squirrel's attention span. Not a fan of dumb mc's there too frustrating and have the weakest character developments.
