Publisher's Summary

Experience the hilarity and heartache of first love and second chances in a sexy new romantic comedy from the New York Times best-selling author of the Pucked series.

Lilah isn't sure what hurt worse: the day Ethan left her to focus on his hockey career or the day he came back eight years later. He might think they can pick up just where they left off, but she's no longer that same girl and never wants to be again.

Ethan wants his glory days back. And that includes having Lilah by his side. With her, he was magic. They were magic. All he has to do is make her see that.

Just when Lilah might finally be ready to let Ethan in, though, she finds out their reunion might have nothing to do with love and everything to do with improving his game. But Ethan's already lost her once, and even if it costs him his career, he'll do anything to keep from losing her again.

"Fabulously fun! Lilah and Ethan's second-chance romance charmed me from the first page to the swoon-worthy end." (Jill Shalvis, New York Times best-selling author)

What the critics say

"The Good Luck Charm was a delightful gem of a second chance romance, a sweet and swoony love story that I just adored." (Angie & Jessica's Dreamy Reads)

"Hockey talk, more than one steamy scene, and a hero and heroine who have a genuine respect as well as a fiery passion for each other make this romance an all-around winner." (BookPage)

"Hunting sparkles in this well-plotted contemporary... She imbues her characters, especially Lilah, with quick wit and enjoyable depth, and the curveball she throws into the plot at the end is truly surprising, yet believable." (Publishers Weekly)

Wow!

Another amazing story from Helena Hunting. The characters are ones that you want to be friends with. The story draws you in from the jump. It was fabulous. Hot. Funny. And filled with emotion.

Disappointing and just ok....

I usually like Ms. Hunting's books, a lot, but this one did nothing for me. There were some highs and lows but not as good as the Pucked series. But that's just me. These narrators were ok and I felt no real connection with the charactters voices except Ethan. Save your credit.

Sweat and Sexy listen

Helena Hunting is an auto-download for me. This was a sweet and simple book. Not as funny as the Pucked Series or as Deep as the Clipped Wings Series (those two are my favs.) But overall a good simple story, a very easy listen.

Just an okay book

Predictable storyline and the characters aren’t well developed. Don’t fully feel the chemistry between the characters on a deeper level

Not impressed

I love Helena Hunting’s Pucked Series but this one just fell short for me. The story was just ok, not the funny quirky style I prefer from Helena.

Seal

I wish the intense, consuming, forever-kind of love was sealed with even an insinuation of an engagement or a wedding and not just a cohabitation. it would've made it convincingly more permanent. Very effective delivery by the narrators with expressive intonation and clear enunciation. Their voices are soothing to the ears.

Great story yet horrible narration!

Loved the story but the readers were awful. This story was about 35 year olds and yet the voices were suited for a 55-60 year old. It didn’t match the story. So hard to imagine scenes with those voices. I didn’t think I would enjoy the story as much as I did. Chick Lit for sure and left you with warm fuzzies. Narrators we’re horrid. Basically two old people.

It was so cute!!

Honestly, I don’t understand the negative reviews. It was a cute and easy read. Sometimes I think people are looking for too much depth in a romance novel. Sit back and enjoy this swoon worthy read with a glass of vino. Worth a credit.

The author knows hockey terms

Don’t waste your time. There are lots of other books that, even by Helena Hunting, that are better.

Don't listen with small children

The story was fine but the graphic language and graphic sexual contact was not needed. I think it was a detraction.
