Publisher's Summary

It's hot demon chicks vs. angelic babes!

Ian and his succubus Alaria make their way to a gleaming city on the sea where multiple dangers await: a goblin mob boss. An underworld of thugs. And roving packs of vicious demons.

Most dangerous of all: Alaria's tendency to bed every hot chick she sees.

Drama ensues and the couple's future is in question, when in walks the most beautiful angel Ian's ever laid eyes on. Literally. She has wings, a halo, the whole bit.

Can a sex demoness and a holy roller learn to get along?

Relationships. Sometimes they're heaven…sometimes they're hell.

Warning: This is a story featuring naked women, threesomes, kinky sex, demons, warlocks, violence, revenge, and moral quandaries.

Conflicted

This series has been a lot of fun. A great mix of LitRPG and exotica, but this book in particular had me cringing for about 75-80% of it. The MC I've come to love makes the most boneheaded decision and then turns into a total A- hole. You're thinking, well ok we all make mistakes then lash out. The problem here is that he kind of goes out of his way to go out of character and to become a total d!(k, at least in my eyes. There's even a section in the book which discusses how unnatural it is for humans to do this. In some ways it almost implies that this is his real character behind his fecade. I found myself wondering if I could just skip parts of the book, but I stayed strong and finished. I won't say what happen in the end, but I find myself questioning whether or not I'll be reading the next one.

Dark, depressing, and a total 180

I had a really hard time enjoying this book. The writing was good and the narration was great but it felt like the author completely scraped the ongoing story. What happend to taking down Alaria's evil ex-masters? And what happend to Alaria? Did the author got bored of her and the direction of the story and concocted a asinine and cringeworthy excuse to dump her in the first chapters and instead focus on a completely depressing and cringy subplot in which the MC turn into a whiny depressed asshole addicted to booze and griefing other players? I mean I began to really despise the MC and his jaded philosophy. Did the author go through a recent breakup or something and decide to reflect his venom and bile through his writing. I'm 3/4 of the way through but even if the story jumps back on track I have already lost any sympathy or respect for the MC. I'm sorry, I enjoyed the other books but I cant recommend this one.

Hillarious Though a Bit dragging

a hilarious D&Dish gamer romp, that's not afraid to make the hard and funny jokes and despite the description and warning its -NOT- just a mindless porn book but an actual story and saga that doesn't pull punches

That said, I did find the Main Characters descent into drunken self pity a bit harsh. But I remembered from the first book he mentioned he -had- just been in and then out of a relationship outside the game and from experience I know that can make a person very......skittish and worried when they enter a new relationship. Not that I am saying him trying to make Alaria into a monogamous person behind her back was not a Dick move. But I can understand why he was so stuck on that, Given his greatest fear likeling is -losing- the one he loves AGAIN and having already been bruned badly in the real world yeah well....

Also one must remember the MC h as only been in single person relationships all the time he's been alive and as the programmer said some things one cannot just change without serious consequences. That Said he was trying to meet alarai half way, though It didn't seem alaria was trying much of that herself. I mean, the argument could be made that while alaria does love the MC he action in the port, of basically jumping anything that moved and all constantly could unsettle someone, specially someone in MC's Positon of now being on the Hook for 4k gold, and No help or support for that coming from Alaria. Homestly had he not pulled the PRogramer end run I honestly think they would have come to problems from that soon enough. I mean a relationship is two people, and they if they want to truly be happy together have to be willing to meet each other half way and be supportive of each other . the MC did try but....sometimes it seemed like ALaria never really did

Overall a good read for the series, but recommend you settle in cause its going to be a long, and facepalming trip as Ian gets his crap together after The Incident., Personally I suggest focusing on Stig and his Sam Jackson imperssions in your mind if you get too Bummed or bored

What was the author thinking!

The author lost his mind. Made the MC whine though 10 solid chapters and do something completely idiotic that doesn't make any sense. What waste of a great series.

Overall a fun ride w/ just a few bumps in the road

Ok I would like to start by saying I really liked the book and have already purchased the next one in the series. It's a fun ride, with all the things you would expect from an "Adult LitRPG". While it's not a literary masterpiece by any means, it's still definitely worth buying and enjoying for everything that it is. The only complaint that I have, is the main character's incessant whining about wanting his video game succubus to be completely monogamous to him. He whines over and over about this. Yet at the same time he's engaging in threesomes, foursomes, etc with his succubus and other women. If it was only a little bit it might not have been too bad but it got to the point at times where it made me want skip ahead just to stop hearing him whine like a little bitch. With that aside, I really did enjoy the book. Again, it's not some Great Masterpiece but it is a really entertaining read. Buy the book, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The Best Thus Far

Makes you hate the main character and then learn to like him all over again, even though I don't really like him. Still I can tolerate him better. That's just me though, he is just a bit too wimpy of an MC in my opinion, but he is a realistic and well developed character.
probably some of the most character development for the MC thus far.
Has a genuinely interesting and plausible storyline and gets pretty interesting in other ways as well.

Just Crazy Stupid

For whatever reason the author thought it be a good idea to take the MC give his personality a 180 and turn him in to a drunken a-hole. Even when he knows he's doing the wrong thing he debates himself and dose it anyway. I found myself skipping large parts of this book because I found the MCs whining and complaining to cringey to put up with.

Iggy Toma brings a brilliant storyteller to life!

Each book continues to get better and better! Once you get to meet the main characters and how they've come together and set forth on fun, funny and exciting adventures, I found them easily lovable and more so as this storytelling genius continues taking me with them on their oddisy, what a blast! Thank you Mr. Markam

Worst one so far

This book I think out of the three so far had to be the worst. The main character becomes a asshole to all his friends and his hole personality dose a 180. He bitches a lot in this hole book and spends mopping.

Some of the conflicts are really dumb too like he needs to make 4K in old to pay a loan, and he can’t make the money but he works for the gaming company but they won’t give him gold to move on even though he is a tester for them and question him why he still in same place for weeks. And won’t help him move on and do his job. Not saying he would move on he to busy being a jerk and bitching. Book needs to lay off so many Star Wars references. I like Star Wars a lot but it seems like it’s trying to hard to pander to geeky fans that it’s just sad and annoying. I prob keep readying because by end he seems like he goes back to his old personality but we will see if it picks up again.

In my opinion you can skip this book and not miss much only that.
******Spoiler******

He get in debt for 4K in gold to loan shark
Someone leaves him then comes back in end
The two come to accept each other’s feelings per say

All in all you could skip this book and us fillers from next book to know what happens. I think best way someone put this book is “ did the author go through a brake up and is taking it out on their book?”
