Cold-blooded murder just isn't Thomas Lang's cup of tea. An interesting quagmire for Thomas Lang, narrated brilliantly by Simon Prebble who, for all his differences from Mr. Laurie, makes you forget you’re not listening to Mr. Laurie! You can hear his voice and whit in every masterful sentence! Quite an enjoyable listen!

I thoroughly enjoyed this humorous tale that kept me on the edge of my seat. Excellent writing, although I despair of grammar these days in general, there were only a few slips here. Looking for more, I can tell you!

this was the best book I have heard in a really really long time! I was super sad when it was over! I didn't see any more books by Hugh Laurie and I hope he writes another black comedy soon!

The story is fast moving and absolutely riveting. It is smart and funny and if you want to get all philosophical about it, it certainly makes you think/despair. The narration is just perfect too. Really well done. I'm not surprised that one of my favorite actors/comedians is also a skilled writer, but I didn't think this would be his genre. I'm very glad it is... more please!
