The excuse the author offers to generate cinematic graphic (+/- sickening) violence is a laughably implausible scenario where a psychopath tracks down & isolates his high-school tormentor. I appreciate that Jonathan Sixtos (writing as "Jon Athan") attempts to make his perpetrator sympathetic and his victim detestable.. but he's not great at it.
The key to this story is to just set aside reservations and take some sick pleasure in the screaming (just embrace your sadistic shadow-self).

As to presentation: reader John Lescault overenunciates and reads slightly too slowly.. but he's also the best element of the audiobook. His clinical millimeter-by-millimeter description of the gore is praiseworthy and his spot-on portrayal of crazed torturer 'Aiden Anderson' is chilling.

Altogether, The Harbinger Of Vengeance' is strikingly silly but enjoyable. You shouldn't pay a Credit for this disturbing 7/10-star offering.. but it's a fair investment of time if you can get it for free (and have a strong stomach).

By far my favourite from this author and to think it’s his first published work. If you want a story that’s all about getting revenge of your bullies, this is IT. It’s violent, gruesome, bloody and so much more.
