Clever

This is the second book in the series and it makes more sense if you read Parnassus first (it’s charming). This was a fun story and a delight for book lovers. First published in 1919, the context right after WWI is particularly interesting, and there was some carryover. At first I found some of the anti-German language disconcerting, but it actually did a good job of reflecting the sentiment of the time.
