This one kinda missed the mark for me. I have loved every other Sophie Lark book I have read but this one fell short for me. The beginning I found to be dragged out and kinda boring(Like the first few hours). The couple doesn't actually get together till there is like 2 hours left in the book. Not enough steam at all and the end sex scene felt disconnected from how the characters behaved in the rest of the book. I like the idea of the story but I think the beginning could have been shortened and had more with Leo and Anna once they were actually together. The narrators were really good. I think that's why I listened all the way through. All 3 did an amazing job! Not sure if I will listen to the next in the series or not ...

This book had the recipe to be amazing but it fell flat for my taste. I don’t have very high standards but this book actually had me grunting out loud in frustration and annoyance. Some characters had full personality switches half way through the book which I genuinely did not appreciate. It also has the ‘every issue can be solved with one single conversation’ aspect. Narration was excellent.

That was…. pretty bad.
