All women could benefit from this book.

I have followed the keto protocol for over a year and can say that I needed the knowledge of Dr. Cabeca to understand why I was not feeling my greatest. I'm looking forward to incorporating the changes and live my ultimate healthy life!

Love this resource book

It feels like Dr. Anna wrote Hormone Fix for me! :) Since listening to her book in October, I've shared it with the women in my life, I sleep better, have lost 15 pounds, and feel so much better. While there was (and should have been!) some feasting over the holidays, it was not the usual derailment that comes with the holidays AND one of my sisters gave me a hard copy of the book after I had recommended it to her! Thank you to Dr. Anna and the whole team - I feel like I have more control over my life than I've had in the last 5 years.

nothing revolutionary

I was looking forward to this audiobook byt was was ultimately disappointed it. First and foremost, the title is misleading: it suggests an overall hormone covering overview, but the book focuses primarily on menopause and offers little to none for younger women who struggle with cycle related and/or fertility issues. Secondly, the information it provides can be easily found on many YouTube channels and even short videos or articles. it may be that this book was more illuminating when it first came out, I really don't know. At present, you can find all of the actual medical information in there for free and within minutes of the most basic Google search. The book is filled with lots of "feel good" stories and fluffy emotional validation and encouragement. If that's what you're looking for-you'll enjoy it. However, if you're looking for scientific information and practical advice you'll find the majority of the book pretty tedious, and will need to " fish out" the science from a sea of fluff. Lastly, if you are already practicing a balanced diet or a healthy version of Keto the "green keto" menu has nothing new to offer. Again, there is so much free information out there, given to us in a succinct and practical way, that reading this book for nutritional advice will only help you if you're a complete beginner in the subject of health and diet. Overall, I'd say this is a good and useful read for someone who struggles with pre or post menopause symptoms and hasn't done any other reading on the subject. it's a jump-off point for a more in-depth research. If this doesn't describe you-feel free to skip it.
