Useful, adaptable, not dogmatic
This book has lots of useful recipes, crafts, and tips. It emphasises benign intent but isn't about a specific religion. It describes practices from around the world. The author encourages you to adjust your spiritual practice however you want - for your home, your life, your cultural traditions. For me this is a great primer.

A great book for witches inclined to domesticity
I love this book! I read it in eBook format from my library, then bought in in hardback and the Audible book. That's how much I liked it. The House Witch shows how the environment of a witch's home can be a touch point for spiritual practice. With history of sacred practices centered around the home, an index of beneficial household spirits, and recipes for magical homegoods; the reader is instructed on how to create a sacred space to nuture the soul and hose around us. Gabra Zackman has a soothing, precise cadence that makes Arin Murphy-Hiscock's material shine. I've now purchased all of the author's titles that are available on Audible. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking the sacred at home. Personal note to Audible: Please commission Gabra Zackman to record Murphy-Hiscock's other books! I'd love to listen to "Protection Spells" and "Out of the Broom Closet." I'd purchase them in a heart-beat.

Great Listen Useful information Wonderful Resource
I found this book very useful and relatable. It has a lot of recommendations and gave me a new way of looking at some of the things I do in the care of my family. I found that some things I am naturally doing and that there are others that I could do that just had not thought of yet. The narrator has a soothing calm voice and does an excellent job. I am a fan of her narrations. This is the second piece that I own now by the author and I am very glad for it. Highly recommend to anyone no matter where they are in their practice because the practical information and suggestions for application is simple straightforward and can be done by seasoned and beginner practitioners alike. The only thing that this did not have that would be a great asset to it is to have a PDF available for the recipes and rituals so that you can easily refer back to them.

Exactly What I Was Looking For!
I've never really been new to magick but practicing the craft is something that is a bit new and unfamiliar territory, This book has plenty of interesting topics also giving you some history and tons of practical application for your day to day life. I was able to enjoy several chapters while cleaning my house which made cleaning that much more...purposeful. The narrator is perfect providing a very calm voice but not so calm as to put you to sleep. Which tends to be a problem for me at times when listening to audiobooks. I definitely recommend this to someone who is new to exploring the craft or maybe for someone who just needs to come back to the basics. I think I will eventually purchase a hard copy of this book for my physical collection of favorite reads.

Indispensable Knowledge + Householder Resource
This book is a gift of knowledge, especially in this day and age. With the generation separations of family life and the digitization of the world, traditions and storytelling can be obscured and forgotten. This book serves as a resource guide to reconnect us with wise ways and traditions that may (re)reveal themselves to our consciousness.
