Publisher's Summary

Set in a Norse-inspired world and packed with myth, magic, and vengeance, this epic saga follows a band of warriors as they face the wrath of ancient gods and change the shape of the world.

Lik-Rifa, the dragon god of legend, has been freed from her eternal prison. Now she plots a new age of blood and conquest.

As Orka continues the hunt for her missing son, the Bloodsworn sweep south in a desperate race to save one of their own - and Varg takes the first steps on the path of vengeance.

Elvar has sworn to fulfil her blood oath and rescue a prisoner from the clutches of Lik-Rifa and her dragonborn followers, but first she must persuade the Battle-Grim to follow her.

Yet even the might of the Bloodsworn and Battle-Grim cannot stand alone against a dragon god.

Their hope lies within the mad writings of a chained god. A book of forbidden magic with the power to raise the wolf god Ulfrir from the dead...and bring about a battle that will shake the foundations of the Earth.

EPIC

I’M OBSESSED WITH THIS TRILOGY. the narrator is amazing — i want him to narrate every book i read. the author is an EPIC storyteller. I am in love with so many different characters. I would recommend this to any one who loves norse inspired/viking stuff and anyone who loves high fantasy. These books are everything I love about high fantasy. There’s never a full
moment. It’s exciting, the battle scenes are so well written, you feel like you’re really there.

Completely obsessed with this trilogy. Can’t wait until the third book! Been trying to convince others in my family to listen so I can talk about it with someone.

Great continuation of the story!

Great story with compelling characters and gripping scenes between the five different point of views! Colin Mace does an excellent job portraying character emotion and bringing the story to life! Highly recommend for those who enjoy gritty, action packed, fantasy novels.

Great book

Awesome storyline, fantastic world, and great writing. The only issue i have is with the performance of the VA. He does a couple things that bug me, but it's easily ignored.

Narration 10/10

Fantastic second book in a series, I thought the narrator did an amazing job and really helped add to the story. I struggled with the beginning of the book but once I switched to audible I flew through it.
