my first exposure to this authour
I enjoyed this story. I have since listened to a few other stories by Liane Moriarty. Her writing keeps my mind engaged, and paying attention. The pace of the story was pretty good.. The Narrator was easy to listen to. #Audible1

Enjoyable narration, tiresome and bleak storyline.
This story seems like it was written by someone who does not think any marriage is good. I could not relate to any of the characters and found most dislikable. The story seemed unnecessarily depressing with few redeeming features.

The Best Book I've Ever Listened To

Exceptional Delivery of an Engaging Story
Caroline Lee does such an expressive presentation of this engaging story that I could spend great periods of time listening. The dialogue and detail of gesture and feeling I consider exceptionally fine in this novel. I feel that I know these characters just as well as I did Dickens’ when I read Great Expectations as a thirteen-year-old.
I have read another of Moriarty’s novels narrated by Caroline Lee...what a winning combination. My arms and eyes get tired when reading so I’m so pleased to discover such enjoyable audiobooks. Thank you, Caroline Lee and Liane Moriarty
