Ollie Krueger's days as a punk kid practicing street magic are mostly behind her. Now she's a butcher at Carnage, a high-end restaurant offering deconstructed takes on meat, and on the busiest nights of the week she and her partner, Guychardson, race to see who can produce more finished cuts. Interesting

This book is interesting. Good characters and as usual RC Bray knock’s it out of the park. The book feels like it is missing about half the information/ story. The book would have been much better if they dove into the realm of warlocks and magic. They sort of just glanced into it because it fits the narrative of the story. I also found the ending to be underwhelming and clipped.
If you are looking for a similar novel I’d recommend one by Gregg Hurwitz.
