I saw a review somewhere that said this is like The Notebook meets Where the Crawdad’s Sing and I’d say that’s the perfect description of this book. I’m interested to read the sequel.

This is my first book by Buck Turner and won't be my last.

This book made me smile, swoon, get teary eyed, crack my heart, think, hopeful, and slightly annoyed with Ellie, mad at her mom and that other person. And, I loved every minute of this! ☕️

I liked The Notebook and Dear John. This gave me that same feeling but also different that I love Jack and Ellie's story. This book feels like home 🌸

The stars are aligned

Can you imagine two teenagers from vastly different backgrounds meeting in Tennessee, his home. They fall madly in love but nobody believes them. Just too different, or are they?? You have to read the book for the rest of the story but money well spent. A great read or listen for me, so find the book, you will be spellbound. I know I’ve bought several more of Buck’s books. He brought his A game to this book. Enjoy
