Publisher's Summary
Charlie Rhodes’ life is in turmoil. Her relationship with her boyfriend Jack is going well but Casey, the newest member of the Legacy Foundation, has dropped a bombshell and Charlie feels as if things are spinning out of control. While waiting for DNA results to prove (or disprove, for that matter) Casey’s identity, the team gets called out on a weird case.
It seems sadistic clowns with magical abilities are killing people in the suburbs surrounding Nashville, and the deaths are bloody and horrible. Upon arriving on the scene, Charlie and Jack stumble across an entire cadre of clowns hanging out at the fairgrounds and the game is afoot.
Mystic Caravan Circus isn’t what it appears to be on the surface. Poet Parker, second in command for the circus, is front and center as Jack and Charlie start digging for answers. It seems both sides are keeping secrets, though, and discovering the truth isn’t going to be easy.
Charlie has always zealously guarded her supernatural secret and it seems she’s not the only one, because the moment she crosses the threshold to the circus she senses she’s surrounded by a magical group of otherworldly individuals.
Trust takes time but that’s a precious commodity as the clowns ramp up their attacks. It’s going to take everyone working together to figure out what’s happening...and who is behind it.
Poet and Charlie make a fearsome twosome but they might not be enough to take on this particular threat. Everybody hates a clown, and when this trio declares war, the horror that follows will haunt an entire city.
Charlie is determined to deal with the clowns before focusing on her personal life. She has to survive to find answers, though, and it’s going to take every ounce of power she has to come out safely on the other side.
Fear is the name of the game, and two heroes are about to collide.

Loved it!
Charlie and Poet together! Killer clowns! A great listen. I listened at 1.2 speed which made the narration perfect for me. Charlie is a very likeable character. She has really grown in me. Her books have gotten much stronger. 🥰

She never disappoints!
Another fun romp through Ms. Lee’s imagination. I love her stories, they make me laugh out loud. I enjoy how she weaves little nuances, here and there. Charlie Rhodes is a wonderful character and everything usually works out, with still a few kinks left.

Unbelievably better than last one in this series
Amanda M. Lee wrote a storyline that was unbelievably better than last one in this series. Jennifer Jill Araya gave an outstanding performance as she brought it all to life. I highly recommend this to cozy mystery fans.

It is Great!
I loved it. I loved Mystic Caravan and Charlie Rhodes together, they make a great team. I liked his Jack has grown and treats Charlie as she deserves and don't go overprotective just the right amount. My only wish is that Chris somehow see some supernatural and that Charlie gets to use her powers a little bit more.

fantastic
This is a crossover o have been waiting on for a while and it did not disappoint. I love the crew from the Charlie Rhodes mysteries and also from the mystic caravan series. In his book it's Jack and Kades worse nightmare, clowns. Not just any clowns, killer clowns. How do not want to give too much away or give away any spoilers, but this book is fantastic. One of my favorite so far. We learned so much about Charlie in this book. Where she came from and possibly what she is. This book is a little darker then previous books in the series, but is written really well and is really suspenseful. Also laughed throughout the entire book. Cannot recommend this book enough. The narrator did a great job as well.

Great Book!
This book had so much great stuff packed into it. I loved getting to see Charlie interact with the Mystic Caravan Circus. This has probably been my favorite crossover, it felt very natural and satisfying. The central cryptid story was also very good and blended modern and historical happenings really well. The progress on Charlie's past and backstory was excellent. This book is jam packed and leaves you wanting more. December feels like a very long time from now!

The Best One Yet
I absolutely loved this book! I am a HUGE fan of Charlie Rhodes and Mystic Caravan series! Combining the two was epic!
I only wish the narrator Caitlin Kelly could have done the voices for the Mystic Characters but that doesn't change the awesome story!
