Great start
The story itself is pretty good as a series start, but the narration needs a bit of work. Nick and other male characters are ok but the main voice is a bit too soft. She also stops mid sentence and then reads like she's just reading. I'm hoping Cato will pick up a better rhythm as it progresses. it could be great, but the narration makes it just good.

Readers voice made it hard to listen to
Catos voice has a whiny tone for the lead woman. The male voices are good, but we mostly hear the lead female. It really ruins the story. It’s hard to judge to story when her voice is so incredibly distracting. It is so very irritating.

Please keep in mind when you listen to this book…
As of 9/5/22, there are only TWO of FIVE of this series in an audio format. Also, for perspective, the original book was published 11/2018 but the audiobook was published 7/2022. The last of the five was published in 7/2020… so if you’re reading this in 2025, hopefully it’ll come out soon! 🤞

LOVED THIS!
I refuse to give anything away about this story, but believe me when I say it's fantastic. I couldn't turn it off, and I immediately went on to book 2. It's THAT good. Narration is absolutely spot on, and really conveys all of the emotions. Totally unique take on heaven/hell with very endearing characters. Worth every minute!!

I tried. I read all the glowing reviews and I tried. I’m just not into the weak minded stubborn FMCS and I don’t get how these supposed hotter than hot guys are into her. I get that she doesn’t know who or what she is, which should be my first flag to not buy a book. I like my leads to be strong, independent, but flawed. This is just not that.

Christina Cato puts on a one woman show.
I love this story. I heard it produced once before and it was good narration. Christina Cato takes it to the next level. Her interpretations of each character makes the story even richer. We see the wonder of magic and new love.

Wonderful
