Narration was excellent. It's a good story overall, but as with book 1, I didn't really connect with the characters; they're too stiff somehow, not enough heart. However the story is interesting and unique enough that I'll finish the series.

It took me a long time to get through it because 3 years ago I was so overcome with the ending that I couldn't finish it. But I am so pleased that I picked this book back up! I'm still overwhelmed by how the book ends, and if the violence of the first book made you uncomfortable don't read this one, it doesn't get better. But nonetheless, I shall rush over to buy the next book immediately!
