This is the starting point against which loyalties are tested, Murder is committed, and unlikely friendships and alliances are forged in the leper hospital of St. Giles. Sound confusing? Don’t worry, Brother Cadfael will untangle all with his innate good sense, knowledge of people from his days serving in the Crusades, and endlessly curious mind.

This is a good recording and is well read by Johanna Ward.
