À propos de cet audio
What could be better for heartbreak than a summer on a sizzling Greek island?
Nina's life is all mapped out. Her promotion at work seems like a given, and her smart, high-flying boyfriend, Sam, adores her. Everything's going just as she planned.
But the universe has other ideas. Not only is Nina NOT promoted, she's made redundant from the job she loves. The icing on the cake is leaving work early and walking in on Sam and her best friend Mags having a post-coital snack in her kitchen. Nina's life has officially been torn apart.
Living back home with her dad, Theo, Nina is persuaded to spend the summer on Kefalonia, the Greek island where he grew up. She can take some time to recover, as well as help renovate the property her dad's bought - in the hopes of selling it on to a major hotel chain.
The community might be warm and welcoming, but life here is anything but simple. Nina's holiday romance with the hot builder rocks her trust all over again. A local young eco-activist is hellbent on thwarting her dad's plans for the house, and Theo himself seems sad and anxious, and Nina has no idea why.
But Nina's learning that life is full of strange curveballs, and that following your passion is one of the bravest things you can do. That, and recognising real love when it crosses your path...
