Publisher's Summary

Alone on the battlefield. Surrounded by death. Cornered by enemies. And ready to die.

Drizzt Do’Urden has become the Hunter, the bane of the orc hordes still ravaging the North. Cut off, alone, convinced that everything he ever valued has been destroyed, all that’s left is to kill, and kill, and kill, until there are no enemies left. But there are a lot of enemies, and even the Hunter is just one lone drow.

I adore Salvatore 'S imaginative story telling.

The narrator, Victor Bevine, makes the story come to life. I enjoy this series immensely.

Just read/listen to it, won't regret it.

If you like fantasy/adventure genre just buy this audiobook and you won't be disappointed. Make sure however that you start from the first book because this is the continuation of the story.

Revenge is best served cold, but cut with simatars

If you liked the first Salvatore books with Drizzt in them you'll like this one it's everything a second book should be it has all the meat and potatoes the only reason I gave it 4 stars in regards to the story is because it is all war so it has no desert, the story tends to take you to a dark place and there's very little sunshine in the book other than the Revenge Factor so by the time you get to the end of the book you're ready for some sunshine but the author stays true to the consequences of War even though there could be a victor there really are no winners so by the end of this book you are ready for some sunshine. the great thing is I dont think you will predict the ending of this one. although the book is dark, The first 3 books that we fell in love with Drizzt were bleak, so if you love the first books you'll absolutely love this one.

R.A. Salvatore is still sharp

This one was one of the best in series! He leaves you wanting so badly to hear the last of the trilogy while making this stop so good.

Fabricio's Review

Not the best of the Drow tales but a good one. Lots of Smelly Orcs.

Awesome

Another awesome story by Salvatore. I will continue to listen to Salvatore books especially if Drizzit is in them.
