I really enjoyed the premise and liked the interconnected short stories, but the main Madeline storyline felt overdone. Alice didn’t have much character development, and to be honest, I found her irritating and completely oblivious.
The ending of the novel was unsatisfying.
There were moments of beautiful writing, but the pacing was inconsistent. Narration was 5*
