Very sweet story
The story is great, loved how they tied the two timelines together. I didn’t care for the narration for the main character, as it sounded old for her age while the script made her appear a bit immature for her age. It was contradicting. Otherwise really enjoyed it.

Lovely story! Not so great sound quality at times.
I very much enjoyed this book but the recording was a little rough. At times it sounded like it was being recorded in an empty room and occasionally the voice and slid would completely change for a few sentences. So different that at first I thought I’d accidentally hit play on a different book.

Great narrator and neat story
A nice book to pass some time. I laughed and cried. I enjoyed the pulling together of two timelines and the symmetry, even if it was a bit predictable at times.

5 STARS - SWEETEST STORY
You need to read this book. I had just finished a real deep book and wanted something a bit more easy going. Only 25 reviews, but I thought what the heck, I will get it. What a gem!!!
You will love Anna and Claire and all the characters. You will laugh and you will get sad, but such a different, fun and diverse story. It is an easy read, it will make you want to listen to all of it at the time (which I did) excellent commuter book! The narration is hilarious and spot on. Please get it if you are in the mood for something a bit more light and different. You love chocolate, don't you?
You will love this book!

LOVE her books!
I am in love with Jenny Colgan's books! She brings me somewhere else with her simple and beautiful stories. Just a sweet place that is easy to live in. :)

Enjoyable listen
Interesting story combining one woman’s past with another woman’s present. It was also interesting to learn a little more about the world of chocolate making. I enjoyed listening to Anna become herself.

Such a sweet story
I loved this audiobook- I’ve been to Paris twice and could visualize the streets and the buildings and the views as I listened. I loved that the book flipped back and forth between Claire and Anna’s stories. If you are looking for a light hearted listen with a British narrator and point of view (my personal favorite genre!) this is a wonderful choice!

Unrealistic
This story is blissfully unaware of the maxim “he’s just not that into you”. The story wasn’t believable. But Paris and chocolate were nice backdrops.

Sweet Paris and Chocolate
Jenny has given us a wonderful story. It will make you laugh, cry, and continue reading until the end. After your done you will be booking the next plane to Paris not only to see the sights in the book but also to try some true French chocolate shops.

Accents were distracting , but the story was good. Narration needs improvement.

Love in Paris
What could be more wonderful than chocolate and love in Paris! A delightful story had me feeling enchanted from chapter 1 on to the last chapter. I’ll be listening to this more than once for sure!
