An Invaluable Resource

The MSing Link audiobook is full of useful coping strategies for managing the multitude of issues associated with MS. These are easy to incorporate into everyday tasks and activities, even on days when movement alone is challenging. Having read the book, rereading it as an audiobook was more helpful than expected. Excellent resource for people with MS

The MSing Link Audio Book is another awesome, excellent resource for people with MS. I have read the original book by Dr. Gretchen Hawley and also have been a member of the MSing Link Facebook Group for a few years. Dr. Gretchen explains the different kinds of Multiple Sclerosis and the many symptoms that people have with this disease. She talks about different types of physical therapy and how a MS specialized physical therapist is best to help patients to improve. The exercises described by Dr. Gretchen and the PDF included with the Audio Book use neuroplasticity to help improve walking, balance and endurance for people like me with MS. The Audio Book is very easy to understand and to follow. I believe that anyone who is trying to improve their walking, foot drop, balance and any other mobility and endurance issues would find this book to be very helpful and an excellent resource to use everyday.

Great Exercise Fundamentals! Life-changing!!!

Dr Gretchen provides a great collection of exercise fundamentals for people with MS. I have already found some of the exercises to provide a noticeable impact within days of incorporating them into my routine. Dr Gretchen is encouraging and supportive about how to start with these exercises. Also her explanations for the exercises are clear and easy to understand; plus there's the added benefit of the accompanying PDF with pictures. I've had MS for 25 years and seen many specialists. This is the first time that some of these ideas have been shared - so simple, so fundamental and so critical for becoming the best version of yourself. Definitely should be mandatory reading for anyone with MS!!

Inspirational and life changing

So informative and inspiring! I wish this had been available to me when I was diagnosed 19 years ago. This book contains such an abundance of valuable information! This book is not limited to a newly diagnosed person but I also found it very valuable to me after so many years with MS. As you listen to this book, it feels like you are sitting with Dr. Gretchen Hawley herself and she is explaining things to you over a friendly coffee. Her voice is very soothing and easy to listen to. It also reinforces her understanding, encouragement and confidence in what she is teaching and what she believes you are able to achieve. Medical terms or MS terms are not assumed to be understood but rather clarified through further discussion or illustration. Photographs are used to demonstrate how to complete exercises, also including variations of the same exercise depending on each one’s ability. This book does not only acknowledge some of the most common challenges someone with Multiple Sclerosis may face, but also how to begin to overcome them. Dr Gretchen Hawley is so encouraging, inspiring and reassuring that with the right tools, starting with information in this book we can achieve our best quality of life! I highly recommend this book!!
