Narration was horrific!
Would you try another book from Claude M. Bristol and/or Jason McCoy?
I would buy another book by Bristol. I would never buy another book narrated by Jason McCoy.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Update it.
How could the performance have been better?
Where do I begin? Don't say "concealed when the word is "conceded" don't pronounce "conspicuous" "conspishus", don't pronounce Knute Rockne's name "K-nute", don't pronounce Horatio Alger's name with a hard G. Don't narrate in a sing song voice as if you had no idea what you are reading. There are many other examples too numerous to note here.
What character would you cut from The Magic of Believing?
Jason McCoy
Any additional comments?
I could not finish this book due to the poor narration.

Loved it..Loved it...Loved it!!!!
I gotta say, as one who is an avid reader and has listened to perhaps hundreds of audiobooks.....this book by far is one of the "BEST" most "INSPIRATIONAL" books i have ever listened to!!!! So much so, that I've listened to it several times and recommended it to my students, co-workers, as well as family and friends.
Trust me, if your searching for positively stimulating motivational literature...then this is definitely the book for you!!!!! Like having your cup joe in the morning before starting your day, playing this book in the background as you get ready for work will really put some wind in your sails before you head out!!!!
I highly recommend it!!!

Great book, but the narration is awefull
What disappointed you about The Magic of Believing?
I loved the book, but the Narration made it imposible for me to finish. It seems like the old days when the mac read outlout. This is the worst narration i have ever heard.
The narrator reads like a 10 year old who reads in a hurry to finish fast.

Good information. Challenging Narration
Would you listen to The Magic of Believing again? Why?
Maybe. I liked the information, but had a tough time listening to the narrator's voice. It was grating.
What aspect of Jason McCoy’s performance would you have changed?
I would have a different narrator. His voice is tough to take in head phones.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No. Mostly, just OK.
Any additional comments?
This is pretty standard law of attraction fare. Not bad, just common now. I realize this is an older book, but most of the techniques can be found in even older books.

The old is now new.
Although some of the examples sited are a bit outdated, I really enjoyed this book. It's not necessarily new information but in a way it's refreshing. It solidifies that there really are laws to this universe and that once understood can open up an entirely different way of viewing life.

entertaining but not useful
This book is full of personal anecdotes. it tells a lot about the magical powers of the brain such as clairvoyance, telepathy, spirituality, and the mystery of coincidence. in the end, the book raises a lot of questions and makes you appreciate the power of our brains. i didnt leqrn anything new and i did not find this book motivational in any way. if you wantto feel motivated and inspired try The Power of Positive Thinking" instead.
