In the early 17th century, a crippled, graying, almost toothless veteran of Spain's wars against the Ottoman Empire published a novel. A powerful and provocative work
Very much enjoyed this book. Learnt a great deal. The author ties many strands of history, philosophy and the arts to make an important and convincing statement. It will stay with me.
