If revenge rape fantasies are your jam, you'll enjoy this book. If not, you'll hit chapter five and delete it like I did. It's well written up to that point and lots of people on Goodreads like it, but if you're uncertain/not already invested in the series I'd definitely check out those reviews and plot overviews before committing. I'm given to understand the hero is sexy enough to make it all okay in the end *eyeroll* and doesn't actually get to force her, but I'm just... not here for it. Your mileage may vary.

Nick and Ellie are interesting characters with a past. Their romance is a roller coaster ride from start to finish. I enjoyed the mystery aspect of the story. We got to see the other characters from the series which is always fun.

I listened to this on audio and enjoyed the narrator.
