I loved this story on the first reading. The level of angst was acceptable to me because ODC is united through it. The interaction and relationship between Darcy and Elizabeth are so deep and soulful. The writing is so precise and inspires such emotion that I found myself fully immersed and empathetic to ODC's struggles. Stevie Zimmerman's performance is excellent and elucidates the many layers of emotions of the characters.

Thank you Alix for this story, I love this journey of ODC. It is interesting to see Darcy in a venerable position and Lizzy in taking the 'lead' on things. I love the Colonel's character and how he assist ODC. As for GW...he is a villain to the end. Thanks Stevie for bringing this story alive, as is your norm, bringing these characters alive from the pages is a great talent. Thank you. C
