a good sequel.

For I'd say 98% of the book Repair is an active member of the book. However there are noticeable moments where it feels as if Repair is frozen in place while everyone else around him acts. It's a bit jarring when it happens since the big fight at the end could have if not been stopped by Repair completely then would have been less dire by him acting while very clear bad thing were going on.

painful plot holes

i really want to enjoy this series, but the MC is painfully oblivious to things around him. granted he was not a smart man in his past life, but it is hard to connect with him. plot holes are painful, but i do enjoy the world and supporting characters.

A Fun LitRPG Romp

This is a really fun LitRPG series. It's a good mix of dungeon crawl and overarching story with likeable characters. Repair is not overpowered and the stakes are real. His supporting cast has real character and add to the story as opposed to being just another thing in the background. I eagerly await the next in the series.

Author still working on his craft

I have been following Mejia for a while, more out of encouragement for a new author that for the love of his work. Some authors get better over time, and I see the same potential in Mejia. The first book in this series was a pleasure which my partner and I devoured during one of our frequent road trips. This novel was technically a good book, good character development, dialogue etc. But it suffered from author fatigue. You can always tell when an author decides he is tired of the book he is working on and decides to bring it to a close. The book was moving along well when... seemingly out of nowhere, new elements were introduced and it started taking a steep dive towards a forced conclusion. I don't want to give away too much, because this was not a bad story and I hope you do chose to purchase this novel. But the antagonist had no solid background or build up. There were no bread crumbs pointing in this direction that had real consequences for the MC. I felt like I was reading two different books that happened to be bound together. I will still support Mejia work because he takes his craft seriously and respects his readers. But for me this novel was a dud. But hey, they can't all be winners.

I Loved it!

Great story and narration! Repair is back, and ready for more hijinks! He has earned the ire of the gnomish collage when he defied their wishes to save his goblin friend. Now he must prove himself worthy to be their champion in the upcoming tournament to get his massive debt forgiven, or he will have to stuffer through years of slavery. To do this he must gain more levels in a ridiculously short time. How will he manage? Jill did a wonderful job with the narration! I really enjoyed this book - It was Fantastic! I cant wait to find out what happens next.

Consistently great And a good bridge to the Nexus

This is consistently great by a master storyteller can't wait for the next book to come out on audible we see are robots friend becoming an even better craft or we see him involved in more complex relationships and starting to truly interact and understand the problems of the people around him
