I really wish the author had read it....

The book was amazing.
The performance was that... a performance. I much prefer when memoirs are read by the author, and if read by someone else, not treated like it's fictional storytelling. I couldn't stand the baby voices used throughout 80% of the book and ended up listening to it at 1.7 to get through it (as I don't have time to read the hard copy instead before book club).
