First off I'd like to say I love Barry's narration of his books. He brings them to life like few narrators out there. I wish more authors would take the step and read their books with the intensity that Barry does. That being said, the story felt forced at times and didn't flow quite like his Rain novels. Livia is a decent character but her character changes very slowly and doesn't quite feel dynamic enough to build a series around. Hope she makes some big moves in the next novel. #Audible1

Darn, have to wait for next book in series! A new character, Dox, brimming with personality, helps elevate the storyline from grim revenge genre to something much higher with wit, heart and hints of a higher philosophy. The darkness, horror and reality of the topic of child abuse, exploitation and trafficking is balanced by the injection of humour and a tight plot. The author does a sterling job of narrating his own works. Can't wait for the next instalment!
