Good

I love it but this one seemed to be a bit rushed and a little bit to short

Short, Cool, Same. Can't Wait For The Next

If you've listened to the other books in the series you'll recognize the formula for this book. It may be shorter than others, but it's still awesome. Also there are a ton of story and lore parts that are leading us towards the end. But I'm guessing we still have at least two more books to go.

short

I have followed the series from start to finish and it is starting to feel that the books are rushed, and being pushed out to say that they are completeted. the potential of this book was there but fell through.
Definitely a filler with just enough information that keeps you listening.

So...What Happened?

Ninth realm finally out, so, Yay. overall it's great but for the moment I feel as though I had to give it a overall score of 4* and a 3* on story because half the book is missing. Parts of the book seem to skip ahead. maybe it will get filled in later? otherwise why release an incomplete work just to have more action. What makes the ten realms series great is the progression of the characters and the connections they make, in this book many things gets skipped over.

Short but fun

While this book was quite a bit shorter, I actually really liked the pacing and found it generally more enjoyable than some of the longer ones. Curious to see how things get resolved as the series comes towards its end.

Too short, very satisfying though.

I don’t love a very short book costing me a credit. I listen much faster than 1.0x so it was a “blink and it’s gone” kind of thing. Love the series, narration etc. but I feel like they’ve been milking me for coin a little when a book is this short. This really should have just been wrapped up into the previous book. That said, I guess it’s tricky with audio books and I think most people understand that the author doesn’t get as much money from these as other platforms, I’ll roll with it since this will pay some bills for the author, and I want the author to keep on writing. So, too short but it’s a very satisfying instalment. It’s nice to see Eric and Rugrat really progress in cultivation and get their fighting system reworked. Between what they’ve learned in this book and their existing head knowledge they are bringing a high level of fighting competence to the 10 realms (and more importantly the earth realms). Can’t wait to see where it goes from here.

SPOILER (maybe): seeing the development of the 1st realm has been fun. Interesting to sort of learn that the 10 realms system isn’t as heartless as one might think, it is but unlike other systems in other books, this was born from need…but what broke progression for people in the realms was the human condition (in this case, desire for power, money etc.) What brought that about in the first place was a sort of fog of war. People lost the “why” of the 10 realms, lose sight of that and self interest is bound to be the main mode of operation for people there. It’s pretty a interesting concept. But the nice thing is humans can be a problem but also a solution.

Kind of short

It’s what you expect in these books if you have made it all the way to this one
