Publisher's Summary

Deacon Hunter is domineering, condescending, and infuriating. And yet I can’t seem to keep my panties on for five minutes when we’re alone together. He keeps melting them right off. With that sexy voice, those confident hands, the way he brings my body wildly to life, he’s proved my libido hasn’t gone into permanent post-divorce hibernation after all.

Surely there’s no harm in being enemies with benefits...right?

When Violet Boden asks me to take her divorce virginity, the only thing I can think is - come again? No, seriously, come again. And again and again, until both of us are so satisfied we can’t remember the people who did us wrong.

Best if we keep conversation to a minimum, though, considering I drive her crazy. She drives me crazy sometimes, too. But she’s also sweet, loyal, fearless, and so much fun that she’s making it damn hard not to fall for her.

But how to convince a woman who’s put me in the emotional no-fly zone that I deserve a place in her heart as well as in her panties?

Was disappointed

I was excited to read that this book had a male and female lead that were older, since I am older. Divorced in their mid/late 40s. Unlike the 22 or 27 year olds that seem to be in most books. Hard to Fantasize when the characters are the same age as my children. I felt the story was odd and the characters had no sizzle , no spark. Sadly I had to turn of off because I was bored. Andi Arndt was great as always

smiles, but not best in series

I like the series, and have purchased the other books in audio.
I mostly like this book, but it wasn’t as well written as the first three. It felt like there were several disconnects at the beginning.
I really like the concept of these being more mature characters, but I couldn’t connect with them for a long time, as written.
I did enjoy the humor - like the raw kale talk;;))
Arndt and York are such a good narrating duo - what’s not to like?

Loved this series

I loved this series. I only got the first book, the Baby Maker, because of the narrator - Sebastian York (I love Andi Arndt's narration too, she is so talented, but it's Sebastian's voice that causes breath quickening, face flushing and dilated pupils. BTW, my husband now knows exactly when it's SY's voice speaking into my ear buds. AND has used this to his advantage on a couple of occasions - sneaky man!) All that aside, I got the next two books (also narrated by Mr. York and Ms. Arndt) enjoy those as well and was pleased when I saw The Panty Melter on Audible. However, there is one problem with all four books, I can't stop listening and end up consuming the entire book in one sitting.

Pretty predictable but a sexy sweet romance

The narration was great though duet would have made it over the top. The story was predictable but pleasant and hot. This one was about the oldest brother in the series so nice to see 2 middle age divorcées finding love.

the unexpected of the unexpected

definitely a good story of how quickly unexpected things can happen in a wife in a family with people different situations different ages but it was definitely a good story I did enjoy it sometimes I felt like it was dragging on a little bit but in the end it was overall a good story that I would recommend it's just a bit different than the ones that I normally read but I still liked it and enjoyed it

10 Panty Melting Stars!

I absolutely love the Hunter brothers and this one was no different! Andi and Sebastian are so perfect together and we don’t get much of them lately so I am a happy girl! I love Violet! She is so humble and loving and all the things I hope to be when I am in my 40’s LOL Deacon is a perfect match for her too. they complement each other so well. I enjoyed this book very much however I feel like the ending was a bit rushed… still worth the credit though!!! Can’t wait to see what is next!

it was missing something but had a bright ending!

This story is not as good as the three previous in this series but it ends with a wonderful HEA.

Another Hunter brother!! This one melts panties!!

I loved this! Sebastian York and Andi Arndt make the best narrating team!

Deacon is former military, a volunteer fireman, and one of the famous Hunter brothers. He’s brisk, kind of rigid, but will always lend a helping hand. Violet works in Deacon’s brother’s veterinarian office. She’s a great employee, a sweet, kind, animal loving vegan.

Having been through divorces, and focused on raising their now-grown kids, Deacon and Violet argue pretty much whenever they’re around each other, but their chemistry is off the charts. When they finally give in to their urges, sparks really fly between them. As work and family issues threaten their new-found no-strings fling, they soon discover they have more in common than they don’t.

I loved the way this story played out. This wasn’t first love for either, so you had the grown-folks component to their love story. I also really loved the theme throughout this book of loving yourself Violet held for herself, and raised her daughters the same way. Strong, sweet, and kind, but no one’s doormat to be stepped on.

Deacon and Violet’s HEA took some time, a dose or two of drama, and a few detours, but it was beautiful.
