Publisher's Summary

Regardless of your stage of life and your current financial picture, the quest for financial freedom can indeed be conquered. The journey will demand the right tools and strategies along with the mindset of money mastery. With decades of collective wisdom and hands-on experience, your guides for this expedition are Peter Mallouk, the only man in history to be ranked the number one financial advisor in the US for three consecutive years by Barron's (2013, 2014, 2015), and Tony Robbins, the world-renowned life and business strategist. Mallouk and Robbins take the seemingly daunting goal of financial freedom and simplify it into a step-by-step process that anyone can achieve.

This book is filled with real-life success stories and vital lessons, such as: why the future is better than you think and why there is no greater time in history to be an investor; how to chart your personally tailored course for financial security; how markets behave and how to achieve peace of mind during volatility; what the financial services industry doesn't want you to know; how to select a financial advisor that puts your interests first; how to navigate, select, or reject the many types of investments available; and success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure! Financial freedom is not only about money - it's about feeling deeply fulfilled in your own personal journey.

Only for (older) Americans

Unfortunately, a lot of this book is dedicated to some America only things. (like paying for health insurance) Specific American tax sheltered accounts. Obviously some good and insightful chapters, in here, but also a large focus on transfering wealth. For us younger investors with no plans of having kids a lot of it is lost.

Peter's narration is, well, atrocious. Monotone and too fast. I typically prefer the writer to read the book but in this instance, they really need to re-record with a pro.

Content Good if you can get past the audio

I think this book is best to be read and not as an audio book. He talks WAYYY to fast making the content all blur together and super hard to follow and be intrigued. Also ALOT of repetitiveness. Overall the content is good- but stay away from the audio book. Someone else (Tony Robbins) should have done the audio

Great content. Poor narration.

Audible books is both content and delivery. The content is definitely interesting (4*+) However, part of the delivery from one of the narrator is very difficult to follow. Punctuation of commas, dots, exclamation points, question marks and pronouncing all syllables of words is non-existent! Would recommend Audible team to assign a new narration to make this book full 5* end to end. Adding: if you set the reader at 90%, you may get a better narration experience; else, default is really bad.

Possibly the worst narration of all time

Great example of why authors should not narrate their own books. Narrator speaks too fast, doesn't pause for punctuation and has no emotion. Sounds more like a bad text to speech computer program. I'm not sure if the book is good or not because I could only get through about 30 minutes.

Narration

Not very well narrated. Similar content to past TR books on the subject. Stick to the book

Great book!

This book should be required reading in primary school. We teach our children Everything except for how to deal with their financial affairs. Then we wonder why most people in America don’t enjoy financial freedom. You either learn these lessons the easy way when you’re young or the hard way when you’re old. I have always believed that we are what we are today and we will be the same as time goes on except for the books we read and the people we meet. Thank you for taking the time to put together this terrific book!

Worth a listen

I like the book a lot. Especially the psychological approach to investing and life. No investing science here.

good content, terrible narrator

The content of the book is actually pretty good if you have money to invest. But the gentleman who reads the majority of the book does so with such monotony and lack of interest that it’s impossible to stay focused.. what a shame..
