Awesome Delivery

I loved the combination of old tales and practices alongside modern applications for druids looking to practice in a more traditional manner.

New Age Fluff

Facts are sparse and the book contains far too much flowery narrative in order to fill the pages. If you are sincerely seeking the historicity of the druids, this is not your book. A ten minute review of Wikipedia will amount in far more. If you are looking for new age feel good occultism like “I am safe within pure white light” then this is your book.

Thank You

John Greer suggested (in his handbook) I read this book and I'm glad I put his down to listen to this one. I have a much better idea of what I wish to learn. I can only read for a short time, at least till I get these cataracts taken care of, so I took a chance on audio. Never thought I'd say 'thanks cataracts' but I am. As I'm fond of saying, "The wheel weaves as the wheel wills" I think it's time to start a new journey.

Read the Amazon reviews

A solid, direct introduction to a complex topic that doesn’t try to cover up contradictions. Not preachy, but not a softball. This book can be listened to passively, but is so much more if you treat it like the course it can be.

Great Narration

Jennifer M. Dixon is the perfect narrator for this book. I mainly listened during my garden walks so the study breaks had to be on hold but listening to it while walking was very soothing and really helped soak in the lessons. I definitely recommend this for those interested in learning about the druid way!

Informative Introduction to Druidry

I will listen to this again and again. I like meditative, informative, and instructional and this was all of those things. It helped me identify Druidry, and examine my alignment with Druidic practice.
