Great narrator, but my least favourite book by Jojo Moyes

TRIGGER WARNING: the book talks about domestic violence, infidelity, and reckless spending.

The main character was insufferable. A child in a grown woman in my opinion. Sections focused on her thoughts were difficult to listen to. With that said, I still found myself looking forward to finishing the book. The other characters were entertaining. I enjoyed the themes of complex family relationships.

You can definitely tell that this was one of the author’s earlier books.

I don’t know why I finished it

I enjoyed other books by Jojo but this was not enjoyable at all. I liked 3 minor characters and the main I would have been annoyed by if I cared about her. The story was boring and never came together.
