I liked the story and was hooked after a few minutes, although I was disturbed by how the voice made you think this is a story out of the 60th or so, I feel like a younger sounding voice would have suited better

the book is well written. the author did a lovely job writing however the story got old. if the book was shorter it would have been better the middle felt too long and wordy.

This was my first thriller, and while I found it started a little slow like I read in the reviews online, it held my interest throughout. Even when no big events were happening, the writing was solid. I really enjoyed the ending and thought it wrapped up the book well and made it a worthwhile listen.
