An absolutely wonderful story. Filled with the strength of survival and love. Usually when a book is this long I find it repetitive and redundant but not this story. I actually wished it was longer. 5 stars ⭐️

This novel is one of the best romances from not loving to being very much in love !the spats between the two are very entertaining and humorous. I. Chuckled several times at the lovers back and forth thoughts . I highly recommend this book as a should read💓💓💓💓❣️

I have listened to four or five ‘historical’ romances on Audible now. I have come to the conclusion that while I enjoy reading these silly novels I don’t enjoy listening to them. This one in particular, the narrator has a most peculiar intonation as noted by another listener. This is my absolute favourite Anne Gracie book (I’ve read at least ten) and I really didn’t love it as an audible. Onto another genre!

I love this series! So well written and engrossing. I’ve had to binge listen to all four books of this series and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The main female characters are both likeable and admirable. The males are swoon worthy - lol! Fun secondary characters and dastardly nasties as well, everything required for a good regency romance. The narrator, Heather Wilds is superb. She is one of my favourites! A+++!
