Publisher's Summary

From the New York Times bestselling author of The Kremlin Conspiracy comes this latest international thriller about a terrifying nuclear alliance among three world powers - Russia, Iran, and North Korea - and the man who must halt their deadly strategy.

Shot out of the air in enemy territory in the middle of the greatest international crisis since the end of the Cold War, former U.S. Secret Service agent Marcus Ryker finds himself facing an impossible task. Not only does he have to somehow elude detection and capture by Russian special forces, but he must convince his own government to grant safe harbor to the one man responsible for the global mayhem - Russian double agent and assassin Oleg Kraskin. While frantically negotiating with his contacts in the White House, Marcus learns that the unstable North Korean regime plans to use the international chaos as a smokescreen to sell nuclear weapons to Iran. With the fate of the entire free world on the line, Marcus makes a deal with the U.S. government - he will go back to work as an international operative and track down the WMDs before they end up in the hands of those with the determination and the means to use them. Marcus and Oleg worked together once before to avert a world war. Can they now find a way to stop world destruction?

Thrilling

A thrilling, fast-paced story with quality character development. Rosenberg does it again, I didn't want to stop once I started. I finished the book the dsy I started it.

Rosenberg is Back & My Jaw Hurts

Other than the Iranian and Jewish characters sounding more German then their nationalities, I love this book. This one was much better than the first one. The first book had too much backstory with no adrenaline excitement.
This book, with all of its Adrenaline Rush action from beginning to end is the Joel Rosenberg of old.
And I for one like it. My jaw still hurts from the clenching that I have been doing the last hour.

Explosive 🧨 Exciting

Nothing like a page burner of an action story that isn’t afraid to include God in the story. Is there any author besides JR who could write such a bestseller.
I have been savoring this book like a fine wine where you are afraid to take a drink for fear that it will be gone too soon. Instead you sip a little bit and savor each and every drop. I am now down to the last minutes as I move into the final hour of this excitement.
I will have to take time and think about it but I think this might very well be his best book.

Hated The “religious” undercurrent in this book.

I am not a big fan of religion so the strong undercurrent of Christianity good, Islam bad really threw me off this novel. The author must fancy himself a bit of a missionary who is out to “save” his readers! In my mind the hypocrisy of using a Christian killer to sell Christianity was very annoying. I almost quit halfway through, but finished it to spite the author. Last by this guy though!
