Publisher's Summary

Once upon a time, in a parallel universe, there existed the continent of Triton....

The prophecy has begun. The Beast has been stirred. And Triton is in turmoil.

Our four warriors and four witches, destined mates, have begun their adventure, knowing the fate of their world is at stake, but not having any idea there are other factions plotting against them.

Now they face political intrigues, religious zealotry, father against son, wife against husband, a mother’s plotting, a sister’s envy, grief, betrayal, and despair as the prophesied journey across the sands of Firenze into the lush green of Wodell.

The lovers are united, but their stories have just begun. They know the battle ahead will be a fierce one they cannot lose.

What they don’t know is a diabolical plan has commenced....

And no one is safe.

Insanely good!

This story started out and things were so bleak, hopeless, and there seemingly was no way anything was going to work out. Then, slowly and methodically, things started to turn around, and trust grew, love took root, and alliances deepened. Seriously, at one point, I was cheering for the bad guy because of what he did to another bad guy. As all the players moved around the board to get into place, the good guys seemed to be winning, and then it was all snatched away. Then all the goodness vanished, and the pain invaded. And with that, I tore into the next book because I needed to see justice being served! p.s. this story is seriously addicting; I’m dreaming about it, my mind wandering to it when I am supposed to be doing other things, and I really want to see how it all turns out while never wanting it to stop <3

Intrigues, romance, dragons & fab narration

Still finding myself fascinated. It is a romance with blooming love and misunderstandings between couples, but the journey also includes political intrigue and machinations, betrayal, loyalty, magic, and violence.

However, each of the four couples stories are engaging... and I can't wait to find out what comes next after that final scene.

The game is afoot.

Awful accents!!!

Hard to concentrate on a story when the acting/accents are making me cringe.
The Irish/Scottish accents were butchered.
Also, why was Hallah's scene at the water with Aramis not re-recorded?
The actress frequently referred to Aramis as "Amaris". Shoddy.
All that said, it is quite an entertaining story.
