Help me Carrie Fisher, you're my only hope.
This was completely entertaining. I laugh out loud in public with head phones on. I felt as though I were listening to an old friend I hadn't seen for awhile. Then it hit me, she was gone.

Grating greatness
Carrie Fischer's honesty is more than refreshing. I found her voice rather grating and had to take breaks, but always came back for more.

she's a bit angry....
and a bit pissed off, a bit bitter ,& a whole lot funny....We really missed a lot. Should have her as the mega star instead of Harrison...the last 40 Tyler's would have been a whole lot more fun.
Sometimes painful to listen to because I lived through that same period. I do feel for her, and myself, and I love the humour because that is what gets you through it...

Carrie Fisher is Extraordinary
In this audiobook, the wonderfully talented Carrie Fisher narrates her life story, focusing mainly on her experiences during the shooting of Star Wars. If you're a fan of those movies, this book is everything you could ever want to hear. This book was my second audiobook purchase and it was well worth it. Carrie speaks with a wide range of emotion while reliving her long and exciting past - enthusiasm, joy, sadness, pain, and total and brutal honesty. She describes in vivid detail a childhood spent with an absentee father and an overworked-turned-underworked mother, how she wasn't sure she ever wanted to be an actress but had nothing better to do, then she got cast in a movie and it blew up so much bigger than anyone had previously thought, how she hated her Leia hair, and of course, details about her affair with Harrison Ford. I highly recommend this audiobook. #Audible1

Great book
Carrie Fisher writes wonderful books. This one is so honest and funny that you cannot help but love her. It is very sad that she is no longer around to write more. She sounds like the kind of person you would want for a friend. I have listened to this book 3 times.

The single best “Autobiography” read by the Author
