Story
Here is a portrait of Jesus that in some ways will affirm what traditional Christianity has always understood about him...and, in other ways, upend it altogether. Award-winning author Mark Clark delves into the person and work of Jesus of Nazareth: his parables and miracles, his controversial challenge of discipleship and obedience, his seemingly insane claim to be God, and what his death and resurrection (if they did happen) actually mean.

In The Meaning of Marriage, Timothy Keller, pastor of New York's Redeemer Presbyterian Church and bestselling author of The Reason for God, uses the scriptures as his guide to show readers what God's call to marriage is, and why this is such a powerful call.

What is his will for us today? Drawing on the Sermon on the Mount, Dietrich Bonhoeffer answers these timeless questions by providing a seminal reading of the dichotomy between "cheap grace" and "costly grace."

C. S. Lewis's dazzling allegory about Heaven and Hell - and the chasm fixed between them - is one of his most brilliantly imaginative tales, where we discover that the gates of Hell are locked from the inside. In a dream, the narrator boards a bus on a drizzly afternoon in Hell and embarks on an incredible voyage to Heaven. Anyone in Hell is invited on board, and anyone may remain in Heaven if he or she so chooses. But do we really want to live in Heaven?

Why is The Book of Enoch so important to anyone interested in Biblical history? The answer is simple: It is directly quoted in the New Testament by Jude (vv.14-15). Themes of the book referenced in 2 Peter 2:1. Jesus also used content from The Book of Enoch in many of his sermons in Matthew and Luke. In this text, you will hear the word of God through this amazing document. We will take this amazing journey together and learn why this text is not an official book of the Bible.

Story
In the beginning, God created Adam. Then he made Eve. And ever since we've been picking up the pieces. Loveology is just that - a theology of love. With an autobiographical thread that turns an audiobook into a story, pastor and speaker John Mark Comer shares about what is right in male/female relationships - what God intended in the Garden. And about what is wrong - the fallout in a post-Eden world. Loveology starts with marriage and works backward.

The God of the universe - the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and E-minor - loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn’t working harder at a list of do's and don'ts - it's falling in love with God.

Publisher's Summary
The Problem of God is written by a skeptic who became a Christian and then a pastor, all while exploring answers to the most difficult questions raised against Christianity. Mark grew up in an atheistic home, and after his father's death, began a skeptical search for truth through exploring science, philosophy, and history, asking the big questions of life, and eventually finding answers in Christianity.
In a disarming, winsome, and persuasive way, The Problem of God responds to the top 10 questions people raise against God, and Christianity, including, among others:
- The Problem of Science
- The Problem of God's Existence
- The Problem of the Bible
- The Problem of Evil and Suffering
- The Problem of Hell
- The Problem of Sex
- The Problem of Hypocrisy
Each chapter answers the specific challenge using a mix of theology, philosophy, and science on the one hand, while also using stories and anecdotes. It's apologetics for the rest of us, focused on both convincing the skeptic, and informing the Christian.

Deeply moving and filled with GOD'S truth.
I am a Christian and have a faith that has been with me my whole life, but it has always felt some what lacking in some of belief in miracles and things since I have a sceptical heart. Though I always had a hope the Bible is true and JESUS came to save me I often have my doubts. So praise be to GOD a man took the time to search in all these different theologies and historical facts and scientific data to find the most convincing evidence to the truth and existence of GOD and JESUS his son. Mark both writes and reads like what he is saying is true, there is a passion you can feel so much so that every chance I got I was listening to this recording till the finish and now LORD willing I will do something about it and not sit by and go on the same as before.

Prepare to be challenged (in a good way)
this book does a great job to look at both sides of many of the arguments for and against Christianity. the author pulls many great examples and resources to showcase the different perspectives and walk through logical understanding based on all the evidence. it will challenge you to ask these questions as it explores them, but the author provides great responses to each question and challenge.
well worth the listen to.

Fantastic information. Addicting!
I couldn’t stop listening. Such compelling arguments. Perspectives I had never considered before. Valid statistics and information. Sound sources and advice on how to better understand the existence of God from a scientific and philosophical stance. I’ve quoted this book at least a dozen times since finishing it and recommended to many people.

challenging and provocative
The content and delivery are clear, concise, reasoned and important. Our creation is worth exploring, and the answers are out there to be found, seek and find, ask and find answers; books like this help that exploration, that natural inquisitiveness.
