In a futuristic world where predictive software can map out the lives of every living person and their descendants, Naomi Prynne is on trial. The charge: endangerment by way of a pregnancy.

Exceptional!
Such a gripping story from start to finish! Bianca's writing is impeccable, and I was truly sad when I finished the last chapter. 10/10 would recommend

Wonderfully written, fantastic narrators!
This was my first audible experience, and I’m so glad it was this story. Bianca’s writing is absolutely beautiful, powerful, emotional. It was a tense opening and I could easily picture it. I love that this story is told in multiple POV. The world Bianca writes about is scary, and I think that’s because it feels all too possible. Very thought-provoking.
There are a couple eye-popping parts and a couple parts that made me emotional. The tension is so strong as one of the jurors presses thoughts and instincts and morals to make the decision: guilty or not guilty.
As a mother, this story hit me right in the feels!
What an incredible short story!! Absolutely loved it.

Excellent!
Do yourself a favour and listen to this gripping story and it’s insightful exploration of social responsibility, the greater good and sisterhood. I could’ve listened for an extra two hours. Bravo.

gook book
futuristic world where women still can't decide on their pregnancy, where people gather to decide if a woman should or not keep a baby. very interesting considering the whole debate in the USA about abortion. it's a good book, but I realized by the end of the first chapter how it was going to end.

Wow! Interesting perspective
I quite enjoyed this and will listen again to truly appreciate all the nuances and thought put into the perspective.
It’s a great lesson in humanity & ethics. As well as human nature vs technology.
Thank for this thoughtful story. It is one that will stay with me.

Yet another brilliant book from Bianca Marais
Bianca Marais is a brilliant storyteller. With memorable moments and vivid descriptions she catapults the reader into this dystopian world. Up until the very end you’re left wondering what will happen. The use of multiple narrators elevates the story to a whole new level.
