Isla

I can tell the boss likes me, because I'm not dead. Bash is abrasive and acerbic, like some sort of alien love child between Michael Caine and Miss Hannigan. And maybe Ebenezer Scrooge. Bash is a little…anti-human race. But he’s not all bad. Sure, he's a little growly and he sets things on fire when he gets mad, but even villains need friends. And here? Bash is everybody's villain. Everybody’s but mine.

The performance was perfect. The writing was perfect Months after listening, I remember the characters and where they were. I looked forward to the next drive(That's the only time I listened.)

funny, loving, such well developed characters and, as is the norm for Amanda Milo, excellently written. the narrator did very well with a wide variety of voices. more please Amanda

This is Isla and Bash's story and is a great addition to the Stolen by an Alien universe, plus the start of a new spinoff. Well written with great characters and lots of fun sexy interludes.

Nick Cracknell is an amazing narrator; he really brings the characters to life. I hope that Nick gets to narrate Beth's Stable. It is one of the best books in the series and it's a shame that it hasn't been made into an audiobook yet. Come on Audible, your listeners are anxiously waiting for it!!!!!!

This first several chapters feel like history lessons about a place you don’t care about and have no idea why you are listening to it, “is it too late for a return?" I am unclear why the main character is so flat, and why spend so much time explaining the naming system, politics and breeding cycle. Why is the protagonist here? Just genuinely uninteresting.
I don’t like it.
Not for me.
