Tantalizing & Intriguing
This book is well-written and flows - the mystery and intrigue keeps you on edge throughout the book. Following the Russian names can be a little challenging at times , but the overall premise and storyline keep you engaged. I listened to the audiobook and was impressed with Marton York's delivery. He was very consistent in the various voices needed in this book as there were several characters.
I found this book to be very entertaining and would highly recommend. Sometimes, things are not what they appear to be...

Good Enough
The basic foundations of this story - former spy/assassin retired trying to get on with new life is brought back into their old life. Old nemesis is involved and the Russian mafia are the villains. There is decent character development using mostly flashbacks for our protagonist Jame Ryker and the Red Cobra. The story isn't all that compelling; it certainly isn't one to keep you up listening past your bedtime. I did find from time to time the stupid actions of the supposed smart, top predator, in control James Ryker irritating. This is not Orphan X, Jack Reacher, The Grey Man, Mitch Rapp, John Rein ... who are all 5 star stories rather this is a solid 3 and maybe 4. Worth a listen? Yes good enough but if you want top notch try one of the series mentioned previously.
Narrator does an adequate job. The English accents aren't consistent. At times a character has a thick English accent at other times it is barely noticeable. And for something that takes place in Spain - no one had a Spanish accent, not even the locals.

Excellent narrator but I took a point off for the guys treatment of existing girlfriend. Otherwise this is a really good audiobook...

Fun listen
I liked the story it moved at a fun pace.
Had to get use to the voices but that is the case with a lot of audio books.
If you like action a good plot you’ll enjoy this book.
