When King James Kronenscheld dies at the hands of the Demon King, he thinks his suffering is finally over and that he can join his Edwin in paradise. And, hey, at least he'd taken the Demon King with him, right?

5/5 This is epically epic! I love James and Edwin, and I enjoyed seeing attempt number two at getting things right, falling in love, and saving the world. It’s a bit hard to talk about without spoilers, lol. The side characters helped make this the adventure it was. I really enjoyed how Edwin and James connected with people (and certain horses, lol).

They’re both such good, basically decent people, and I wish everyone cared like that and had the power to effect change! James’ heart is huge, and tugs at my heartstrings how much he cares for Edwin. I was on the edge of my seat to see how it would end this time, and it was well worth it! So glad this two got their HEA! Zachary Zaba does a fabulous job narrating! I enjoyed listening to this so much.
