About the Creator
Dan Frey is a writer of film, television, theater, and now, audio original fiction. With his screenwriting partner Ru Sommer, he has developed projects for Fox, Paramount, YouTube Premium, and the Disney+ streaming service, among others. The Retreat is his first audiobook. His next project, a novel entitled The Future, will be published in 2020. He lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife Casey and their poodle Winston.
About the Performer
Kyla Garcia is a 10 time AudioFile Earphones Award Winner, ALA Honor recipient, and a two-time Audie nominee. Favourite storytelling moments include: originating the role of Sarah Ridge Polson in Sovereignty at Arena Stage (where she had the privilege of performing for Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Gloria Steinem!), creating the digital spoken-word series Herstory 101, and playing the title role in the pilot Blackwater.
