A worthy listen!
I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. The narrator is spot on and the storyline is just as strong as the first book in the series, if not stronger. I really enjoyed the fast paced plot and the very interesting characters. The only piece missing in these stories is the element of magic which is common place in fantasy. I’m hoping the forthcoming books have some magic and then I’ll feel inclined to give a five star rating.

Brilliant
This is exactly the type of book/audiobook that I love. Heroes worthy of being hero’s, a plot line that is exciting, and for this audiobook, a reading that adds something special to an already brilliant book. Love it. Keep it coming.

Nuggets from the first books
I am enjoying getting to see the happenings the characters have talked about in the first books unfold on the page. The stories add depth to the characters. I dont find them as immersive as the previous books but I love all of them.

Another Great Addition by Michael Sullivan
The writer/performer duo of Michael J. Sullivan and Tim Gerard Reynolds always leaves me wanting more. THe stories are rich with character development, lore, and the perfect amount of action. The Rose and the Thorn is a great example of this, as it is a story that makes you nervous, excited, happy, sad, and sometimes even makes you cringe. If all you crave is more of hadrian and royce at their best then this book is great for you. #Audible1

Great story, narration and banter.
