Loved it!!!
This is a continuation of the original series The Last Survivors. I highly recommend listening to that series first so you'll know more about these characters and the world they live in. The Last Survivors was my favorite series last year so I was very excited to see T.W. Piperbrook continue the series! So far, book 1 of The Ruins is just as good! I'm very happy to see Sean Runnette is still narrating this series. He does an excellent job with each of the characters.
This book picks up right where the last series left off. Kirby, Bray, and William have left Brighton. They go looking for Kirby's old settlement only to encounter two new groups of people and more twisted men. I wonder which of these two groups is the true danger. Maybe both! Looking forward to book 2!

Excellent continuation of an excellent story
I was pleased to see that this story exceeded my expectations. I probably would have followed Ivy, Malora, and Jingo, but T. W. was right to throw these three together on a new adventure. The dynamic is fantastic and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Great continuation....
Great continuation in the world developed in the "Last Survivors" series . We get to follow Bray, William and Kirby on their journey, where they find a new settlement much different to what they were used to in Brighton.... good or bad? 😋 Read to find out!!
